1931 Model A Steel Top Wide bed PickupAre you looking for one of the nicest late 1931 steel top wide bed pickups?

This pickup was originally built by Ford in late August of early September 1931,and is an actual steel topped truck with the wide bed. It is painted French Gray over Seagull Gray (available after July 1931 from the factory) with the Vermillion pin stripe and wheels. The spare tire is now housed in a custom lockable carrier under the bed for security and convenience and locked with a rumble seat handle. It has a Waltham Speedometer that shows 3650 miles since restoration. The restoration  was completed in 2008 by a senior judge for the the Dallas World meet where it won 2nd place in the touring class with 429 points of 500 possible. And tour it has. It was a 2000 mile round trip. The following year , with a few corrections, it scored 467 points in the touring class at the Breckenridge regional show and won a MAFCA award of Excellence. It was only 6 point form being best of show.  Their was no expenses spared in the restoration. A new 4 row radiator, sealed leak-less water pump, balanced inserted H&H engine, original side bowl carb, NOS Letter "B"  hi compression cylinder head, Aries muffler, 3.78 rear end gears, a Dual High overdrive, all new bearings and races throughout, cast iron brake drums, new shoes, all steering arm balls rebuilt. This truck drives strong and smooth, accelerates well and smoothly .

This truck runs and drives well enough to drive to the show, anywhere, and correct enough to show well when you get there. You can drive it anywhere, as it is smooth and comfortable at 60+MPH.
